Shehbaz Sharif to attend the funeral prayers of Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi will be offered in Tehran today.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei will lead the funeral prayer after which Ibrahim Raisi will be laid to rest in Mashhad on Thursday.
Thousands of people participated in the last rites of Iran’s president foreign minister and other officials who died in a helicopter crash in Tabriz.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will go to Iran today to attend the funeral prayers of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi.
Deputy Prime Minister and senior cabinet ministers will also go along with the Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif will also meet the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei.
Shahbaz Sharif will also meet Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhbar and express condolences on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan.
It should be noted that the resolution expressing regret over the death of the Iranian president has been unanimously approved by the Senate.
