WhatsApp multi-account support on a single phone. The messaging service WhatsApp, which owned by Meta, is about to introduce a new feature that will let users easily manage multiple accounts on a single device.
The new update to WhatsApp will allow users to have multiple accounts within a single app and seamlessly switch between them, even though the service already allows users to sign in with a single account on multiple devices.
This feature uncovered by WABetaInfo, a well-known blog that tracks WhatsApp feature updates. The multi-account functionality only currently available on WhatsApp Business, but it likely soon added to other versions as well.
According to the screenshot provided by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will soon add a special menu that will make it simple for users to switch between various accounts.
However, several other social media platforms, including Telegram, Discord, and Instagram, already provide a comparable feature.
As soon as the user signs in to a new account on their device, it saved in their list of accounts until they choose to sign out or remove it.
Even if they only have one device, this feature will be especially helpful for those who want to keep their personal and professional WhatsApp accounts separate.
How WhatsApp will differentiate between notifications from various accounts is not yet clear. It remains to seen whether or not we receive a small label identifying the account a message is from.
