Australian all-rounder Mitch Marsh suffers corona in India

Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Capitals says Australian all-rounder Mitch Marsh has been shifted to a hospital in India after testing positive for corona.

According to a report by foreign news agency ‘Writers’, the Delhi Capitals said that Mitch Marsh, who played 32 Tests for Australia, was one of the few members of the team’s bio-bubble who tested positive, but the rest have no symptoms. “The Delhi Capitals medical team is closely monitoring Mitch Marsh’s health,” the team said in a statement on Twitter. “The other members of the bubble are in isolation in their respective rooms and are being tested regularly,” the statement said.

The Australian player will have to be isolated for at least a week due to Corona’s loss, which means he will not be able to be part of the matches against Punjab Kings on Wednesday and Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.

The conduct of these matches could also be jeopardized as the tournament was suspended in the middle of last year’s edition after several Corona cases surfaced in the camps of different teams, after which the IPL introduced strict rules regarding Corona.
