Fatima Sana Wins ICC Trophy for Emerging Female Cricket Players in 2021

Pakistan’s pacesetter Fatima Sana was awarded the 2021 Young Cricket Player of the Year International Cricket Council (ICC) trophy.

 Taken to Twitter on Thursday, the star player said:

“Alhumdullilah […] It’s an absolute honor to receive the trophy of @ICC Women’s Emerging Cricketer Of The Year.”

“Onwards and upwards InshaAllah. Pakistan Zindabad,” said Fatima, expressing her determined to perform well in the future as well.

Pace setters are proud of the country not only to be the ICC award winner, but also to be the first female cricket player in the country to win the ICC award.

 In a statement, the ICC said  the 20-year-old boy “impressed everyone and everyone with her overall performance in 2021.”  “She has become an integral part of Pakistan’s ODI and T20I teams, thanks to her wicket-taking ability as a bowler and her ability to simultaneously add practical runs to orders.” Says.
