Raja Pervez Ashraf reached Lahore by special plane.
Among those who received Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf were PPP MPA Ali Haider Gilani, PPP leader Samina Khalid Ghurki, Shehzad Saeed Cheema, Raza Shah, Ahsan Rizvi and Zeeshan Baig Shami.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf was received by a delegation of PPP Punjab led by Parliamentary Leader Syed Hassan Murtaza.
On his arrival in Lahore, Raja Pervez Ashraf will take oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab from Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Governor’s House.
A PPP delegation led by Syed Hassan Murtaza will attend the swearing in ceremony of newly elected Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.
Earlier, the swearing-in ceremony was scheduled for 11:30 am.
