Trees are the lungs of the Earth

If there is one thing that can make or break a garden, it is the tree.

No garden is complete without trees so choosing a tree according to the space available is very important.

Planting the wrong tree in a large pot in your garden, patio, or terrace or balcony is tantamount to inviting trouble.

Most of us urban dwellers do not have enough space to plant such magnificent trees as Gul Mohar, Jacquard, Indian Coral Tree, Indian Lilac and Mango.

However, pomegranates, guavas, apricots, papayas, bottle brushes, and laser stroke perennials, commonly called crepe myrtle, can make room for such small trees of any one color.

If you are short of space and want to plant a flowering tree, Ledger Stroemia will be best for you.

It can also be planted in a large pot or directly in the ground.

They bloom in pink, violet, purple, red, white or maroon flowers during the warmer months.

Pruning at the end of December each year helps control their volume.

They can also be prepared to provide shade in summer, and in winter when they need heat, they do not interfere with the passage of sunlight due to their lightness.

They thrive in the sun and in the shade.

This tree can be grown all over the country, even in the dry days of the monsoon, its flowers are open and fragrant the atmosphere.

If you want your only tree to be fruitful and grow in a hot city like Karachi, then lemons, papaya and chicory are the best choices.

In Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar, there is no better tree than cane, especially the one which is small and can grow in a big pot and stays green all year round.

In the spring season, it will make your house fragrant and its juicy fruits will reward you for all your hard work.

These fruits will be much higher in quality and fragrance than the fruits found in the market.

You may be thinking that after planting a tree in a small place, you will not be able to grow anything else there but that is not the case for example, cannabis, lemons, grapefruit or any other stress fruit, these trees should be pruned in such a way that the trees grow outwards instead of upwards.

In addition, keeping the middle part of the tree clean will improve air circulation, which will also reduce the chances of any disease.

In this way a dense shade tree will be formed.

The branches of this tree, baskets and other such things would be perfect for hanging.

In this cool shade, petunia, fuchsia, fern, orchid and chlorophytum can be grown in pots of suitable size.

In addition, they will look very beautiful.

Trees

It is true that most trees do not allow grass to grow around their trunks, even under their shade. But pots can be placed on this empty land to solve this problem.

Unlike permanent grass, these temporary pots can be changed at any time.

Before planting a tree, consider the following:

What would be the height and spread of a mature tree and how deep its roots would be and how far it would spread.

Plant small trees at least 2 to 3 meters away from the house and four walls as their roots can damage the foundation of the house.

Take care of the location of underground water tanks, water and sewerage lines, underground power lines, etc.

Do not plant a tree in a place where its roots affect these things.

If there is even the slightest chance of the tree being tall, do not place it under the power lines so that it does cause trouble later.

If a tree growing in a pot grows too big, hand it over to someone who has a suitable place to plant it and plant another tree to commend yourself for working to improve the environment.
